SEVEN-YEAR GLITCH
SYSTEM DESYNC
ISSUE 12

No anniversary
No celebration
Only artifact

We're not back. We never left. This magazine didn’t pause. It desynced. The gaps, the irregularity, the conflict, the silence—those were not interruptions, they were symptoms. They were intentional.

What you’re getting isn’t a return or a reset. It’s a read error made visible. Year Seven is not a milestone. It’s the point where failure can no longer hide. We realize everything sucks. We admit no one cares. However, it is up to (the collective) us to carve a path forward.

The work continued during the absence. A sabbatical, not on paper, not online, but of the grind. Time was spent away from the feed, the cycle, and the noise — observing transportation cultures in motion, across borders and contexts that do not translate cleanly into a 15-second online swipe of the mind. The result is not compression. It is cohesion. This issue exists because multiple systems broke in a way worth documenting.
